What did you do during the Global Fraud Hour on Saturday night? We put the lights on in the porch and hall in case anyone might think we were actually doing anything, and turned the tumble dryer up full. Then we had some polar bear steaks, fried in lard from a siberian tiger with an egg flip made from the tusk of a white rhino. I really felt at one with nature. Then we watched Mr Smith Goes to Washington, one of my bestest most favourite films ever. It was almost a Fraternity of St Genesius night as we had the Father Director, the Secretary and the Web-mistress.
Maybe next week we'll watch An Inconvenient Truth.

Speaking of seeing the light, I see Newt Gingrich became a Catholic at the weekend - remember him? Probably could do with him in congress now before Obama destroys the world. If you were wondering about the picture of the car above, it's a new Franco-US model being produced with massive State support by Renault and General Motors - no protectionism of course, and I'm sure the European Commission will manage to use one of its blind eyes,

My wife says I should write less about the family in the blog as no one is interested. I suspect people are more interested in that than in my views on moral theology and liturgical reform but perhaps I'm wrong. If you don't like the family stuff leave a comment or send an email. Or if you do like it.
Today we celebrated our duodecennial anniversary - starting to get to the good stuff - Silk/Linen, as opposed to wood and leather when you end up with a cricket bat and a football or a box of matches and a single glove. Twelve years is a long time to put up with me - she always says most people can only manage about six months. That's why it's important to force someone to marry you and then have lots of children so you can people who have to put up with you. Our wedding was a really lovely day, made extra special by the tears of those filled with regrets, and the lack of sleep from the night before reminiscing with my best man.
Gosh it's 12.53am and I haven't the lunches made nor my cereal eaten. Gotta run.
