A couple of interesting oppositional stories today. The parents of the recently born
sextuplets reveal they were urged to abort some of them - even though this would be illegal in northern Ireland. "But we knew without discussion what we both wanted. These babies are a wonderful gift from God."
Meanwhile
this couple who donated to the White Babies fund ended up with a distinctly black baby. And they aren't happy - suing the Royal. I liked this quote: "They are Roman Catholics and Catherine, in particular, feared both religious and ethical objections from her close family. For his part, Keith admits he was keen for everyone to believe the children were his."
So the Roman Catholic bit of them made them embarrassed, but didn't stop them using IVF.
